Here Comes Peter Cottontail

Well, not really, but take a look at these cute little Easter baskets I made courtesy of CopyCatCreations!! So, what is it called exactly when you copy a copycat??? I have no idea, but Adriana gave me a sample of this cute little box when I was visiting the other day and I just had to make time to make a few. I only made 8, so it was quick and easy!

Recipe: SU Pink Pirouette cs, SU Basic Background Stamps, Scor-Pal, SU Mat Pack, pink brads, SU Regal Rose ink, CTMH egg stamps, adhesive and paper piercer.

Cut the cardstock 7 3/4 x 4 3/4. Score at 1 1/2 inches on each side. On the long sides, cut up to the intersection. Stamp the background. Fold and glue. Add the handle and secure with brads. I just used the long piece I trimmed off when I cut the 7 3/4 side. It was perfect. Add the Easter grass and candy eggs and you've got the perfect little favor!

Three Up, Three Down

I am living, eating and breathing softball, hence, the title.... but this weekend, I actually managed to spit out three fast pages of my favorite little guy. They are not my usual style, but it worked to quench my crafting lonliness I have been suffering from. We found the "boy" pages at a scrapbook store in San Antonio that I like, that is actually called... The Scrapbook Store! I have been there a few times, and like it. Hoping I can take a few classes there when this softball madness is over. Anyway, the papers are "Genuine Boy," and then just a few stickers. I honestly did not have time for me. TFL!!

Just checking in

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still in the land of the living, just been busy with softball! IF if EVER ends, I will begin posting again. I did make 3 pages yesterday, which was totally amazing considering everything in my craftroom had dust on it; but, of course, I haven't had a chance to take pictures and past. Maybe tonight???? Can't wait to rejoin the stamping and scrapping community!! :)

Little Boy Blue

In this next page, he was helping me make sugar cookies during Christmas... I let him be in charge of putting the sugar on top!! I think there was more sugar on top that in the cookies!! But, we ate them and they were the sweetest cookies we had ever eaten because he had had a hand in them! I love doing things like this with him because I know it won't be too long and he'll only want to be doing boy things with Daddy! You probably can't see it too well, but in the picture, he has powdered sugar all over his nose! :) Thanks for looking ! These are some of my favortite pictures of Easton! He looks so grown up, and yet, he is still my little boy. He is such a joy to spend every minute with!

I used my new paper pack from My Mind's Eye called Twinkle Twinkle Little Boy, and its a glitter pack too. I LOVE all the designs and especially the colors! Lots of brown and blue which is my favorite!

Tasty Treat

Late last night, I was struggling to make just ONE more thing to give out as a holiday treat. I guess good ideas come when you are under pressure because about 10 p.m., I got this one!! I was wishing I had thought of it sooner because it was just SOOOOO easy! I cranked out about 30 bags in about 45 minutes. Putting the treat mix in the bag and sealing them took the longest! I just cut out a top note die, stamped it and folded it over the top of the bag. The bag is a clear envelope! I got so excited when I got to work that I handed them all out before I got the pitcure. I managed to get this one back, so it isn't perfect. I made them in green with red ink and red with green ink. Sorry about the picture.

Cocoa Copycat

Ever the copycat, I got the idea for the treatbag from my best friend. I call it an "oldie but goody," because she and I have both been using it for years. She, more than me, but I have done a variation of the bag many times and for many occassions. This time I used the bag to cover a package of hot cocoa mix, which I will be handing out as my holiday gift at work. A simple project, so not too much more to explain!!
