Quick Cards and Father's Day Cards

Well, I surely thought I would have updated my blog earlier in the summer, but as time would have it, this is my first post in awhile. I have made three projects over the last few days... The first is a card for my landlords. They were kind enough to give us brand new carpet in the house, so I felt like a thank you card was in order. I used a card in the latest issue of Paper & Crafts for the sketch and just adapted it to what I had.

Thanks:

Recipe: SU Creamy Caramel paper, SU Designer Series paper in Certainly Celery, SU Outlined for Fun stamps, SU Close to Cocoa ink, Prima Flowers and a button. The button is actually green, but for some reason appears as blue in the picture.

You Rule!:
Late last night I was looking for a cute project for my father-in-law and as luck would have it, I actually found something. I got the idea for this project from: http://silverlinedesigns.blogspot.com/ and it was perfect for the gift card! Thanks so much!

Recipe: SU Really Rust paper, Yellow Cardstock, Black Cardstock, Tan Cardstock, George and Basic Shapes Cricut Cartride for the star, Frosted Lace Stickles, Charcoal Cat's Eye for inking edges.

Last but not Least! Father's Day Card:

This last project is my favorite. I made it for my husband from me and our son. I got the idea from another post on Splitcoast and the free digital stamp from The Paper Makeup Stamps Blog.

Recipe: SU Sahara Sand paper, SU Creamy Caramel paper, SU Baja Breeze, SU Designer Series Paper pack, Digital Stamp for Sentiment, PTI Brown Ribbon, Chestnut Cat's Eye for inking edges, Nestablities, SU mat stack for paper piercing.

I didn't take a picture, but I also made a matching envelope using the Kreate-A-Lope templates. Super easy and cute!

Thanks for looking and until next time... Happy Scrappin'!
