Tasty Treat

Late last night, I was struggling to make just ONE more thing to give out as a holiday treat. I guess good ideas come when you are under pressure because about 10 p.m., I got this one!! I was wishing I had thought of it sooner because it was just SOOOOO easy! I cranked out about 30 bags in about 45 minutes. Putting the treat mix in the bag and sealing them took the longest! I just cut out a top note die, stamped it and folded it over the top of the bag. The bag is a clear envelope! I got so excited when I got to work that I handed them all out before I got the pitcure. I managed to get this one back, so it isn't perfect. I made them in green with red ink and red with green ink. Sorry about the picture.

Here are the exact measurements and recipe: SU clear envelopes, SU Purely Pomegranate and Old Olive paper, SU Purely Pomegranate and Old Olive Ink, SU Top Note Die, adhesive and stamps. I got the sentiment from what I call the "Dollar Stamp Stand" at Michaels.Oh, and of course the treat!

Cocoa Copycat

Ever the copycat, I got the idea for the treatbag from my best friend. I call it an "oldie but goody," because she and I have both been using it for years. She, more than me, but I have done a variation of the bag many times and for many occassions. This time I used the bag to cover a package of hot cocoa mix, which I will be handing out as my holiday gift at work. A simple project, so not too much more to explain!! Thanks for looking and here's the recipe:

Wishing You Joy: SU Old Olive, Real Red and Very Vanilla paper, Very Vanilla Ribbon, Fun Puns stamp set, close to cocoa ink, jumbo eyelets, Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder and a $1.00 stamp from Michael's for the sentiment.

Happy Holidays: SU So Saffron, Purely Pomegranate and Very Vanilla paper, Jumbo eyelet, scalloped edge punch, nestablilities tags 2 (I think), Purely Pomegranate and Old Olive ink and a $1.00 clear stamp set.

Merry Christmas: SU Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla, and Chocolate Chip paper, scalloped rectangle nesties, PTI ribbon, Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip ink, and a $1.00 clear stamp set for the snowflake and the sentiment is a Hobby Lobby stamp.

Christmas Gifts

Hey Everyone! I don't have a lot of time to offer all the details, but here is my finished Stationery Box Gift Set. My friend Jana gave one to me for my birthday and I couldn't wait to make one of my own! She got the design from Dannie's Designs and it is such a great idea! I made three boxes for each of my co-workers. On the inside are 6 cards, 2 each of 3 different designs, 3 little notecards and 4 tags.

I used SU paper and Basic Grey Pink Lemonade paper pack. I have already posted 2 of the 3 cards about a month ago, but here is the rest of the finished project. Thanks for looking and Happy Holidays!
